Licences and credits

Every dataset, word list and image used by a game on this site is listed here with its licence, and a game does not ship until its entry exists.

Games

Game rules and mechanics are not protected by copyright in the UK or the US, and several games here are our own build of a familiar idea. What is protected is the expression: names, artwork, text and layout. We use none of anybody else’s. Every game on this site is written from scratch, given its own name, and carries no trade mark belonging to anybody else.

Data

• Reckoning uses no external data. Every board is generated and solved by the site itself.

Software

Built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS and Supabase, each under its own open source licence. No web font is loaded from a third party; the site uses the type already on your device.
